Dosing Range

Fine Tune Your Flow

The MP & LA Range forms the robust base of all ROTOMAC progressive cavity pumps. It can pump low-viscosity to viscous media, and promises high accuracy with excellent repeatability. These pumps handle the entire spectrum of fluids — from clean and clear liquids to solid-laden, abrasive, corrosive and highly viscous media.

Metering By Displacement, Not Valves

A progressive cavity pump displaces a fixed volume with every revolution. That single fact is what makes the Dosing Range accurate: output tracks pump speed linearly, so flow can be adjusted with ease and repeated exactly, run after run. There are no check valves to stick, clog or wear.

Both pumps convey with minimal shear effect and virtually no pulsation — so no dampeners or bellows are needed downstream — and they hold accuracy across the full spectrum of media, from clean and clear fluids to abrasive, corrosive and solid-laden product.

MP and MW share a platform. Same capacity, same pressure rating, same metering principle. What separates them is the intake — which is what determines whether the pump can be fed by a conventional suction line or needs an open hopper and feed screw.

Features & Benefits

What every pump in the Dosing Range shares, whichever model you specify.

Flexible

Depending on the site requirements, installation can be done in a horizontal or vertical position with a large, rotatable, spherical suction intake.

Gentle Conveying

Low shear and low speed, virtually pulsation-free pumping of low to highly viscous products.

Reversible

Suction and delivery ends can be interchanged by merely changing direction of rotation of the prime mover.

Easy Conversion

Modular components for quick and easy conversion to larger or smaller sizes.

Low Pulsing

Virtually pulsation free flow, with no need of dampeners and bellows.

Low NPSH(R)

Effective in high vacuum conditions.

Versatile Applications

Fulfills even the strictest hygiene requirements, and is therefore suitable for numerous applications in almost any kind of industry.

High Dosing Accuracy

Offers high dosing reliability — flow is proportional to speed, so it can be adjusted with ease.

Durable Materials

High corrosion resistance due to the variety of components available in Hastelloy C or Titanium.

Typical Applications

Used in virtually all industries where a precise quantity has to be delivered repeatably — from clean fluids to abrasive, corrosive and non-flowable media.

Chemical Processing

Acids, alkalis, polymers and reactive additives.

Water Treatment

Coagulants, flocculants, chlorine and pH correction.

Pharmaceutical

Active ingredient dosing and semi-solid formulations.

Food & Beverage

Flavourings, colourings, fillings and concentrates.

Paints, Inks & Coatings

Tinting, pigment dosing and resin metering.

Pulp & Paper

Sizing agents, retention aids and dye dosing.

Mining & Minerals

Reagent and flotation chemical dosing into slurries.

Cosmetics

Fragrance, pigment and thick emulsion metering.
