Four Generations of Innovation
Driven by the scarcity and high cost of imported progressive cavity pump spares for Indian coal mines, Mr. R.R. Gupta pioneered the first Indian manufacture of these pumps — solving a nationwide problem with homegrown ingenuity.
Mr. R.P. Gupta joined his father and helped grow the business significantly, deepening Rotomac's roots in the Indian industrial market and strengthening its supply capabilities.
With technical expertise, Mr. Atul Gupta elevated Rotomac's product quality to match global standards. He launched 2nd-generation pump designs, expanded into Food & Pharma, initiated exports to the Asia-Pacific, and opened branches in Noida, Mumbai, Chennai, and Vadodara.
Mr. Abhai Gupta brought fresh energy, upgrading the engineering base with state-of-the-art CNC machines, entering the Oil & Gas sector, and launching the 3rd-generation pump series in 2017 to meet evolving market requirements.
Rotomac continues to set benchmarks in pump engineering — with a robust national sales network, growing international presence, and an unwavering commitment to delivering reliable, efficient solutions for our clients.
A Legacy Built on Vision
Our founder was intrigued by the battery of progressive cavity pumps deployed in his coal mines. Recognising both the scarcity of reliable Indian suppliers and the high cost of imported spares, he set out to change that.
He perfected a unique method for generating the complex rotor-stator profile, and with that breakthrough, ROTOMAC was born. His principles and guidance remain the very core of our company today.
Four generations of the Gupta family have each left their mark on Rotomac, building an enterprise that honours its roots while embracing innovation.
