Wobble Pump
The DP Range is economical, space saving and easy to maintain — and in smaller sizes it is joint-less, making it virtually maintenance free. It uses a flexible stator, fixed on one side and made to wobble, and runs well with all kinds of liquids of various viscosities, even those containing high levels of solids.

ROTOMAC™ DP Wobble Pump
Most progressive cavity pumps need a joint to transmit rotation from the drive shaft to the eccentric rotor — and that joint is usually the first thing to wear. The DP removes it. The stator itself is flexible, fixed on one side and made to wobble, so in smaller sizes there is no joint to service at all.
Fewer assembled parts means quicker maintenance, a smaller footprint and lower procurement cost. The trade-off is duty range: at 5 m³/h and ≤ 4 bar the DP is a transfer pump, not a high-pressure one — which is exactly why it suits the long list of everyday applications it covers.
Reinforced where it flexes. The flexing area of the stator is reinforced so it lasts longer than other wobble designs, and the mechanical efficiency has been tuned to lower both starting and running torque — which keeps the motor smaller and the running cost down.
Available As Mono-Block Or Bare-Shaft
Same wobble stator technology, same duty range — pick the build that fits your installation and drive preference.
Mono-Block Configuration
Pump and motor supplied as one integral unit. The smallest possible footprint and the fastest option to install and commission.
- Smaller footprint due to integral construction
- Low procurement cost from the compact design
- No alignment work required on site
Bare-Shaft Configuration
The pump is supplied without a drive, leaving the drive arrangement entirely open to specification.
- Free choice of motor, gearbox or belt drive
- Adapts to existing skid layouts and retrofits
- Variable speed or frequency control on request
Details & Configuration
Everything you need to know about the DP wobble pump — from core benefits to full technical configuration options.
Easy To Maintain
Quick maintenance due to very few assembled parts.
Space Saving
Smaller footprint due to integral construction of the pump.
Performance Efficiency
Minimal maintenance cost and downtime cost thanks to quick replacement of parts.
Budget-Friendly
Low procurement costs due to compact design.
Versatile Applications
Fulfills even the strictest quality standards thanks to robust design with wobble stators and containment cup design.
- Discharge Port
- Threaded connections to BSP standards.
- Rotor
- Wear resistant and corrosion-resistant materials.
- Stator
- Flexible stator, fixed on one side, with a reinforced flexing area that lasts longer than other designs. Special care has been taken to enhance the mechanical efficiency to lower both the starting and running torque.
- Shaft Sealing
- Only available with mechanical seal configurations.
- Configurations
- Available in a mono-block (DPC) and a bare-shaft configuration (DPB).
- Close Coupled Drive Connection
- For easy dismantling of the pump and drive, enabling quick replacement of the rotating parts and shaft seals. The yoke shaft secures the shaft connection to the drive and the water thrower protects the drive from contamination / gland leakage.
- Drive
- Geared motors, variable speed drives or frequency controlled motors of all major manufacturers, directly flanged to the pump without additional couplings or guards. Covers made of stainless steel are available.
