ROTOMAC™ MP Dosing Pump
The MP is the general-purpose metering pump of the ROTOMAC Dosing Range — used across virtually all industries wherever a precise quantity has to be delivered, repeatably, without pulsation. It handles thin fluids and viscous ones equally well, and stays accurate on corrosive media that carries solids.
Because the progressive cavity principle displaces a fixed volume per revolution, output tracks pump speed linearly. There are no check valves to stick or clog, and dosing accuracy holds to a deviation of only ±2%.
MP or MW? Both cover 1–550 L/h at ≤ 24 bar. The MP uses a conventional suction housing and suits anything that will flow to the inlet on its own. Choose the MW instead when the product is so viscous it needs an open hopper and feed screw to reach the pumping element.
Specified For Corrosive Duty
Components are available in a range of materials, so the pump can be matched to aggressive chemistry rather than compromised around it.
Stainless Steel
The standard build. Discharge port and suction housing in stainless with threaded BSP or NPT connections.
Hastelloy C
High corrosion resistance for aggressive acids and oxidising chemistry where stainless would not survive.
Titanium
For the most demanding corrosive service, including chloride-bearing and marine-adjacent process media.

- Discharge Port
- Only available in stainless steel, threaded connections to BSP or NPT standards.
- Rotor
- Wear resistant and corrosion-resistant materials.
- Stator
- The seal on both ends is molded as an integral part of the elastomeric stator.
- Shaft Sealing
- Only available with Mechanical seal configurations.
- Yoke Shaft
- Connects the drive shaft to the joint. Upon request, it is available with wear resistant coating.
- Body
- For connection of pump and drive and to secure the assembly to the baseplate or directly to the foundation.
- Suction Housing
- Available in stainless, with drain plug and connections for pressure / vacuum gauge. Only threaded connections are available, and can be rotated in 90° increments.
- Close Coupled Drive Connection
- For easy dismantling of the pump and drive, enabling quick replacement of the rotating parts and shaft seals. The yoke shaft pin secures the shaft connection to the drive and the water thrower protects the drive from contamination / gland leakage.
- Drive
- Geared motors, variable speed drives or frequency controlled motors of all major manufacturers, directly flanged to the pump without additional couplings or guards. Covers made of stainless steel are available.
